About Dude Perfect
Dude Perfect is a group of five friends who met as roommates at Texas A&M University. Their trick-shot videos made them one of the most-watched sports channels on YouTube.
Video one
Their first video, from April 2009, is literally titled "Our 1st Video!". It shows the group sinking long-range basketball shots in a backyard, the low-budget start of everything that followed.
The breakthrough
The trick shots got bigger: off rooftops, from stadium upper decks and even from a helicopter. For each shot they made, they promised to sponsor a child through Compassion International, which helped the early videos spread. Recurring formats like "Stereotypes" and "Battles", where the members compete against each other, kept fans coming back.
Today
Dude Perfect runs a full media company headquartered in Frisco, Texas, with its own TV-style show (Overtime), live tours, books and merchandise. They remain one of the most popular family-friendly channels on the platform.
