About ElectroBOOM
Mehdi Sadaghdar, known as ElectroBOOM, is an electrical engineer who teaches electronics while regularly shocking himself and blowing things up on camera, on purpose (mostly).
Video one
His first public video, "Don't worry, it's just ESD!" from April 2012, is about electrostatic discharge and features the comic mishaps that became his trademark.
The breakthrough
Sadaghdar's blend of real engineering lessons and slapstick accidents struck a chord. Viewers learn how circuits work while laughing at the sparks, and his reactions to dangerous DIY videos became a popular series.
Today
He continues to make educational comedy videos, describing his channel as a way to "subconsciously learn while being entertained".
