About jacksepticeye
Seán McLoughlin, known as jacksepticeye, is an Irish YouTuber famous for his loud, cheerful "Top of the mornin' to ya, laddies!" intro and his energetic gaming videos.
Video one
He started uploading in late 2012. The oldest video still on his channel is "War Has Changed", a Solid Snake impression set to the Metal Gear Solid 4 intro, from November 2012.
The breakthrough
His channel grew quickly after a shout-out from PewDiePie, passing a million subscribers in 2014 and ten million by 2016. He toured Europe and the US, appeared on Irish television and Disney XD, and became one of YouTube's most recognisable gaming voices.
Today
McLoughlin acted in the film Free Guy, released a documentary about his life called How Did We Get Here?, and voices a character in the video game Dispatch. He also runs Top of the Mornin' Coffee and supports many charity streams.
