The breakthrough
His "penny series", in which he sets off with one cent and has to trade, work and hustle his way forward, made him one of YouTube's most beloved storytellers. He has repeated the format several times since 2017.
Today
Trahan combines his challenges with charity. His "50 States in 50 Days" fundraiser in 2025 raised more than $11 million for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
