About Sidemen
The Sidemen are a British collective of YouTubers whose Sunday group videos, challenges and celebrity football matches have made them one of the biggest creator brands in the UK.
Video one
The friends had been making gaming videos together for years before the group launched its own channel. The first video on the shared channel, "WELCOME TO THE SIDEMEN CHANNEL!", went up in May 2016.
The breakthrough
#SidemenSundays, a new group video every week, turned the channel into appointment viewing. The group's charity football matches, held since 2016, have raised millions of pounds for UK charities, and in 2018 they starred in The Sidemen Show on YouTube Premium.
Today
The Sidemen run a small business empire: Sidemen Clothing, the Sides restaurant chain, the Side+ app, XIX Vodka and Best Cereal. In 2024 Netflix released the documentary The Sidemen Story, and the group launched its own reality game show, Inside.
