About Technoblade
Technoblade was a Minecraft creator loved for his dry wit, unbeatable PvP skills and the catchphrase "Technoblade never dies". He died in 2022, and remains one of the most fondly remembered creators on the platform.
Video one
He registered his main channel in 2013. The oldest video still public is "technoblade vs mineplex's owner" from October 2013, an early player-versus-player clip that shows the competitive streak he became famous for.
The breakthrough
His Hypixel videos, and especially his dominance in player-versus-player events in 2019, made his channel take off. In 2020 he joined the Dream SMP, where his anarchist "Blade" character became a fan favourite.
Legacy
In August 2021 Technoblade shared that he had been diagnosed with cancer. He died in June 2022, and his final video, "so long nerds", was narrated by his father. The tributes that followed came from across Minecraft and YouTube, and his channel still gains new viewers today.
