About TheOdd1sOut
James Rallison, known as TheOdd1sOut, makes animated story-time videos about his life. His simple drawings and deadpan humour helped define the genre.
Video one
His first public video, from August 2014, is "A Book I Made as a Kid", which shows a homemade book he created when he was young.
The breakthrough
Rallison had already built a following with his webcomic. On YouTube, his animated stories about jobs, school and awkward moments, starring his character with the bowl haircut, found a huge audience, and he became a leading figure in the animation community alongside creators like Jaiden Animations.
Today
He co-created and voiced the lead role in the Netflix animated series Oddballs, and still releases story-time animations.
