About Ali Abdaal
Ali Abdaal is a former doctor who became one of YouTube's best-known productivity creators, and wrote the New York Times bestseller Feel-Good Productivity.
Video one
His oldest public video, from March 2016, is a cover of John Legend's "All of Me" credited to Duranka Perera, from long before his productivity videos.
The breakthrough
Abdaal's videos about study techniques, productivity and building a business, made while he was training as a doctor, found a huge audience of students and young professionals.
Today
He describes his channel as exploring "the skills that school didn't teach you", from productivity to building an independent business.
