About DanTDM
Dan Middleton, known as DanTDM, is one of the most popular family-friendly gaming creators ever. He is best known for Minecraft adventures alongside his cartoon dog, Grim.
Video one
DanTDM started in 2012 under the name TheDiamondMinecart. His first public video is the start of a Minecraft Pokémon mod series, "Pokemobs Adventure Mod #1 'The Journey Begins..'", from July 2012.
The breakthrough
His Minecraft mod showcases and story series made him hugely popular with younger viewers. In 2016 Guinness World Records listed his channel for the most views for a dedicated Minecraft channel, and in 2017 he topped Forbes' list of highest-paid YouTubers.
Today
Middleton has published a graphic novel, toured live shows around the world, voiced a role in the UK version of Ralph Breaks the Internet, and still uploads a wide range of games, from Minecraft to new indie titles.
