nobody cares that you went to fashion week
Emma Chamberlain changed what vlogs looked like. Her quick-cut, self-deprecating editing style became one of the most imitated on YouTube in the late 2010s.
Her oldest public video is "TRY-ON THRIFT HAUL" from June 2017, filmed as a high-schooler showing off second-hand finds.
Within months her honest, funny editing, with zooms, captions and awkward pauses left in, made her a breakout star. She won the 2018 Streamy Award for Breakout Creator, and in 2019 TIME named her one of the most influential people on the internet.
Chamberlain hosts the weekly podcast Anything Goes, runs Chamberlain Coffee, and works in fashion as an ambassador for Louis Vuitton and Cartier. She posts on YouTube less often than at her peak.
