About stampylonghead
Joseph Garrett, known as Stampy or Stampylonghead, became one of the most-watched YouTubers in the world in 2014 with child-friendly Minecraft videos as his character Stampy Cat.
Video one
His oldest public video is "Journey - Starting My Journey [1]" from July 2012, the first part of a playthrough of the game Journey.
The breakthrough
His long-running Minecraft series Stampy's Lovely World, full of storytelling and gentle humour, made him a huge favourite with young viewers. In 2015 he created Wonder Quest, an educational Minecraft series with Maker Studios and Disney.
Today
Garrett ended Stampy's Lovely World in 2023, and in 2024 began working in game development.
